Job Title: ETL Developer (Hybrid)

Job Summary

- We are seeking an ETL Developer with a strong background in IBM Infosphere DataStage administration and extensive experience in Property & Casualty Insurance particularly in Auto - Agency Management.

- This role demands a strategic thinker who can oversee complex projects ensuring technical excellence and innovation in a fast-paced environment.

- With a requirement of 10-14 years of experience, the ideal candidate will drive our projects to success contributing significantly to our miss.

Technical Skills: Duck creek.

Technical Skills: Any ETL tool - preferably DataStage.

Roles/Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of complex data integration solutions using ETL.

- Ensure data processing and ETL workflows' reliability, efficiency, and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and data quality.

- Provide expert guidance on the Property & Casualty Insurance domain, focusing on Auto - Agency Management systems.

- Conduct thorough data analysis and profiling to support business decisions and project requirements.

- Implement best practices for data security and compliance in line with industry standards.

- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior team members on technical and domain-specific skills.

- Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data management and insurance domains.

Qualifications

- Should have prior Insurance domain knowledge of Personal Auto Products (Duck Creek).

- Previous Policy Conversion Experience is desirable.

- Should be able to create Conversion Strategy document and High-Level ETL design document (We have samples available from Previous engagements but that needs to be modified as per PCS project scenarios).

- Understanding of Policy Data Reconciliation Process.

- Good Data Analysis and SQL query writing skills.

- Understanding how ETL tool works (Any ETL tool will do) - Preferably DataStage.

- Able to coordinate with Client Stakeholders at onsite.

- Should be able to set priorities for the Offshore Delivery team based on Project expectations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively in a team environment.

- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both technical and domain areas.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
